A framed textile artwork of a few lines from one of my favourite poems "The Lake Isle of Innisfree" by William Butler Yeats.
"...midnight's all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow,
And evening full of the linnets wings"
The words have been manually typed by Karena using her vintage typewriter and then embellished with Donegal tweeds and a large velour rosette that has been hand beaded.
Designed and hand crafted by Karena in her studio in County Galway, this piece of art has been sustainably crafted and only one of these piece have been hand made.
Rusts and rich textures make this piece feel luxurious and decadent and give it a hint of a "purple glow".
The piece is framed in a limed wood box frame behind glass. As I am passionate about sustainability, my frames, packaging and wrapping are custom made in Ireland.
