The standard was off the scales and the winner was very well deserved. I loves viewing every portrait to see how other textile artist work , to see their technique and their process.
Vintage French fabrics, embroidery thread, beads, Inktense pastels and repurposed fabrics.
I used free machine embroidery, paint, applique and hand beading and stitching. My children's drawings have been used also , they drew onto vintage fabrics and I have free machine stitched these.
